Infinity and Jelly Donuts
When we think about measuring our world, we usually think in terms of real numbers. But what if the numbers used at creation were at the very least complex in nature? For example, it is an interesting fact of complex analysis that the entire area exterior to a circle of any size, (or a jelly do-nut) can be mapped into points inside the circle, no matter how small the circle or large the area outside. For every z, there is a corresponding 1/z. It is as if God has bestowed on us the ability to comprehend his infinite universe, even within our finite limits, or ponder the world in a jelly do-nut, as it were. Conversely, every instant reflects an infinity of possibilities.
I am convinced, however, that our lives are not one single continuous stream of events, but an elaborate system of preordained keyframes that take the physical form of potential boxes of zero potential energy bounded on all sides by infinities, that afford us unlimited freedom within the box, and at the same time assure the predestined outcome with absolute certainty. Inside our box we are free to rant and rave as we please, but the closer we get to the moment the closer we are to capture.
It is key instants that everyone remembers like the Kennedy Assassination that will one day allow us to traverse forward and backwards in time, when we understand them.

From “Introduction to Electrodynamics” by David J. Griffiths:
We say that the space around an electric charge is permeated by electric and magnetic fields (the electromagnetic ‘odor,’ as it were of the charge). A second charge , in the presence of these fields, experiences a force; the fields, then, transmit the influence from one charge to the other - they mediate the interaction.
When a charge undergoes acceleration, a portion of the field “detaches” itself, in a sense, and travels off at the speed of light, carrying with it energy, momentum and angular momentum. We call this electromagnetic radiation. Its existence invites (if not compels) us to regard the fields as independent dynamical entities in their own right, every bit as “real” as atoms or baseballs….

As a body accelerates toward the speed of light, the dimension in that direction must literally begin to curve, as if scissors were being slid down a ribbon of space and time.
